Indeed, I have returned from thrashing my HGT around France. I covered 2200 miles without a single hitch and the car performed the best it has ever done (after I sussed that you DONT use the fuel from hyper and super markets)
I did notice that the octane rating on their "sans plomb 98" is higher than the 97 over here which may have made the significant difference on the VVT engined HGT. God knows what the consumption was like, I could be arsed to check!
The suspensions loved the superb road surfaces and I was able to give her some real long distance clear outs.
Hows my mate Patrick? I have a special photo for you now I know what a dirty sanchez is..... The 1.4SX is seriously up for sale now as the XJR-S is awaiting me to pick it up. I have had a couple of interested people but if anyone want to give me £2750 for her let me know. (She had been standing for over 2 weeks outside until I got in her today and she started first flick of the key!)
I will read through the messages later and give any worthwhile opinions on anything contraversial I have missed...
