just been online tonight, and had the most filled game i have ever seen, 13 players all in one go and i was the host, had a great time and made it to level 2....

its weird when i go to join a game it always has only at least 4 players or the game keeps getting quit, but when iam host its the best.....

Theres alot of problems with the PS3 version, it chooses randomnly not to work on some machines and the multiplayer is patchy at best. We've had complaints at work about it some people on 5th copy of it but still wont work... had heard the multiplayer was a bit dump on PS3 too..but if its free you can't expect it to work properly can ya ;)

Also Bomb Da base rocks....

Guys who knows when GTA IV will be out for PC?
I have read tons of its reviews for PS3/XBox360, but didn't find any info in the web about PC version..
Still didn't played it yet, as I don't have PS3/XBox360, but want to play it very much soon on my new PC.
If you know some information about that - please let me know.

Grand Theft Auto IV PC Launches November 18th
Aug 06, 2008 at 8:23 AM - Andrew Burnes - 15 Comments
GTAIV for the PC has been announced, as expected. Launching on November 18th in North America, the brief press release states that the multiplayer component will be "expanded."

Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. , is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto IV will be arriving on the PC on November 18th and 21st in North America and Europe, respectively.

"We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it."

Developed by series creator Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, the latest installment in the enormously successful Grand Theft Auto series features a painstakingly detailed and life-like city for players to explore; a rich, immersive narrative experience; an original soundtrack highlighting the cultural eclecticism of Liberty City; and newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC.

Today got bored and went to find the hidden packages (pigeons) as I bought the guide now 4.99 from game and I want the helicopter with rockets on it. Finding them gives you such an idea of how long and hard rockstar worked on this game it takes you to so many little areas that despite being out of the way have amazing detail I found a busker in a small park for example playing a saxophone.

just been playing GTA... had it since release and played it for a bout 4 hours total... not an impressive game at all if you ask me, lets the series down. Saints Row was better on the 360!

I think its the best one of the series, then again I've not really played GTA3 or Vice City.

I've started to play again (Completed it and messed about on it, then didn't really touch it for a few weeks), but want to take a different line than before (Kill different people if I have the choice etc).

Just been playing it again on my 360. It is a great game, and the level of detail is crazy. Like how you can ring Lazlow whilst a song is playing on the radio, then it texts you the artist/track name:D It's the little touches like that which make this game special I reckon.

PC release should be much better graphics wise, and as normal with GTA series I'd expect a lot of community created content to add into the game, like the previous ones.

Just killed all the bloody pigeons....and what did I get...well best described as jack s**t on previous gta releases you got something worthwhile for hidden packages such as weapons and armour at your safe houses....this one you get one item after you've shot 200 of the things and they aren't easy to find. The item? I hear you ask its an annilhator helicopter....you know those things that are only available in at least 6 different locations once you've finished the game and are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard as an offensive weapon...also 50 gamer points to show that you indeed have wasted a significant amount of time...

Did see lots of cool things I hadn't seen tho
