i wanna convert into a GT engine..

How much am i looking at for the totaly conversion? and what price for insurance? (roughly) (Currently 1.3k)


I know a guy has done this before to a 5door.. what are you paying for insurance? and age etc? cheers mate.

really dont understand these posts on insurance.
the only way you will get a real price is to phone insurers! also if your paying 1.3k on a 55 then you will be lucky to get covered at all.you realise it will be more to insure than a gt let alone the conversion cost.
just buy a gt

Getting money from my injury claim. 1.3k is for all modifications. i dont wanna get rid of car. + i want a 5 door - hence GT Conversion~~~

1.3k is still loads.insurers do not like engine swaps.
you could be looking a doulble that or more.im the wrong side of 30 and had insurers refuse to quote me on the turbo cinq and i have 7 years NCD and a clean license

Ever thought using autotrader and go through their insurance finder?

Surely the search would give you a *rough* idea if you search a punto gt

It is going to be easier and cheaper all round to just go and buy a gt,who is going to want to buy a 5 door gt when you have finished with it.
