hi i was just wondering if anyone has any idea of how much bhp i could get out of a mk1 punto gt engine?

someone on punto sports has got 300bhp.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but isn't the Punto GT similar to the Punto 90 (1.6)? A Punto 90 block with GT bits and Delta Hf pistons should see 200+ bhp reliably and a lot more torque making the car behave a little better on the road.

The GT is a 1.4 Turbo.

yes you can use the 1.6 sporting bottom end to make a 1.6 PGT. But tbh 200bhp is easily obtainable without using the bigger block or the car becoming unreliable (well any less reliable lol).
