Hi,

Just bought a Grundig 10 cd multichanger from ebay, only to discover that it has a 13 Pin plug and not 8 Pin plug on it!!..Yea I know should have done my homework before I bid on it..
I just assumed that the Grundig MCD range were all the same fittings, anyway does anyone know where I can get a lead for this so I can use it with the standard Grundig AD182H stereo??????
or am i stuffed???

You 're Stuffed

I made a similar error when I had a Punto - Bought an MCD36 on Ebay, when I should have bought an MCD10.

I had some communication with Grundig on this and, apparently the two CD changers are not interchangeable as they speak a different language. MCD10's only speak to Grundigs of circa 1995 vintage, whereas I think the MCD36/46 can actually talk to non-Grundig Head Units.

Re: You 're Stuffed

So what stereo is this MCD 10 compatable with ???
did you say the punto stereo?? if so which one??

Grundig mcd10 times two

I have two grundig mcd10 with cartridge's and long thirteen pin din lead, I think it fits punto's circa 1995, not too sure, any good to anybody??? E-mail with a price over sixty quid. I'm in Bradford, just in case you didn't notice, will post anywhere in Britain.

Re: Grundig mcd10 times two

Simon,

Whats the plug fitting on the multichanger, or is the cable pre-wired into the unit..also do you know which head untis its compatable with???

It's an thirteen pin din lead on the changer, the lead is thirteen pin to thirteen pin, there is also a black box with it, I thought it was compatible with the bravo head unit, not so, bought it off e-bay the guy who sold it to me said it was for a punto, but I have no idea what model, or year.
