Greetings one and all.

Howdy cousin, what a find eh, sounds like it might have been a pensioners car, drove it sporadically supermarket shop etc. My 2018 spider I just bought had under 10k on it (new used) of course I paid ($$$$$) for that privilege.

Hopefully arriving to my place Wednesday this week. Have tried to start it but fuel pump not spinning up. I am advised of a fuel cut off switch but can find nothing in the workshop manual I have (Haynes)

Odds are you will have the purge the fuel line and get that rotten fuel out of the tank. Fuel is only stable for around six months. I even run a stabilizer during the winter months because I don't drive that much and I never let the tank get below half in the winter. I also run fuel line anti-freeze for the winter months. Air the tires up an extra 3-4 lbs and cover the battery with a fleece blanket. Once a week I a take it out on the motorway to keep the battery charged up, around 30 minutes round trip at 65 mph.

Indeed - will drain the tank - once the pump is spinning :)
