Hi, Ive recently got a new grande punto 1.2
I decided i wanted to hook up my ipod so i did a little bit of research.
I found this cable:

I rang up fiat to make sure that my punto stood a chance of working, and they said that i could buy the cable from them for £81. but i found one on ebay for £20 so i thought i would fit it myself.
I have whatever the factory fitted CD player is, its NOT the mp3 one.
So i hooked up the cable fine, plug in my iPod fine and the ipod screen says blaupunkt ipod interace connected.
But now how do i get it to play music to my car? i go through the sources of my cd player (cd, aux, fm, am) and surely its AUX that i want? but it doesnt play any music ive tried using the controls to skip or play a track and nothing?
Am i missing something, or is this just not compatible?
please help me !
