I purchased a new head unit kit from the web and like i have heard it doesn't power up, the eject button powers the eject motor so i know its working this is what the look looks like, would someone be so kind as to tell me what i need to do, many thanks!

Does it have an ignition live feed?

As above, you need an ignition feed. Not a hard issue to resolve
