Tuning Grande Punto Brake Upgrade

I'm due some new Discs and pads so have been hunting around.

but cant find any comparisons between the EBC Turbo Discs and EBC Ultimax discs on a GP.

Anyone got any info for me?

As for pads stuck between just the simple EBC Green stuff or the EBC yellow stuff pads.

again any info would be great from people that have had these.

I've had the greenstuff pads on OEM discs. They were cheaper than originals from Fiat and stopped the car better but literally ate through the discs.

Now i have a set of Ferodo discs and pads and will probably get the same when they wear past the limit.

Dont bother with yellowstuff.. They need to warm up before they work properly, and are stupidly aggressive on the discs

I have the ultimatax discs and pads on the front, along with Bembo OEM replacement discs and Ultimax pads.

great combo and wear is good.

You wont need yellow stuff ill tell you the very best set up ive found for sharpness and long life

Ebc turbo groove and green on the front

Mtec drilled and grooved or even solids on the back if u cant stand whistling with green stuff pads, my fronts are still going almost 3 years on

would you recommend the full mtec kit or have you just had the ebc and mtec mix?

Mtec on rear because brake bias doesnt need spectacular discs on back

Dont get me wrong they are good discs you could run on front i found the ebc absolutely great for life been on 3years
