Grande Punto Amplifier cables

Hello. I bought a blaupunkt amplifier and a SAL subwoofer. Now i need to get the wiring. Can somebody tell me where to take the wires from the battery and from the HU to the trunk? Do i need to lift up the carpet or how?

welcome to the forum this has been covered in various projects in the past so do a search but to get you going the main cable gromit comes into the car behind and above the glove box to get to it follow the top half of this guide

once in the car i assume yours is a three door

undo the plastic sill trim (2 or 3 screws cant remember off top of my head and pull up


fish cable round kick plate near bonnet release and run in cable duct (you will see it when you get cover off)

next undo side trim where seatbelt comes out of (firm sharp pull) on the lower corner

next go to the boot and remove the 2 screws under the parcel shelf hanger and remove carpet side

now shove a bamboo cane through from the back of the car in between the outer and inner skin and shove it till it reaches the front of the car...

now pull the cane out of the front slightly avoiding the seat belt mechanism and tape the cable to it

now have a friend guide the cable in as you pull the cable to the back


ideally the wires from the HU want to be run down the other side to avoid interference
