Who actually uses it apart from me??
Go on to Google maps & type in 42.881667,47.656667
For those who have watched James May's big Ideas will maybe rember him talking about a russian vehicle called Th Ekranoplan?? or as it was refered to in the cold war Caspian Sea Monster??

Basically found the location through current issue of Top Gear mag.
Worth looking at

You able to see a Green Arrow?? keep going right untill a wight object appears, then zoom in on it.
Infact double click on the green Arrow, & select Zoom Here.

No not really, just saw it in Top Gear mag when I was on ma break at yesterday.

use google maps a lot for work and obviously for planning trips but don't really spend much time on it looking at things for fun

what the??? lol i did use to try and find planes airborne on Google earth at one time btw

I've heard things about google earth, apparently you can see:
A plane crash
A Car Accident
A Partly sunken WW2 Aircraft amongst other things.

But the Ekranoplan on google maps is now retired somehwere by the Black Sea
