General Good news for Sedicivalvole owners

after a small scuffle on Ebay I am now the owner of many Fiat Workshop manuals regarding the Tipo. There are large sections covering the engine and other aspects of the car that aren't covered in either of the more available manuals. (haynes/porter)

there are also lots of bits on the Deisel which also seem a little hard to come by...

I'll be sorting out some way for these to be available online in the future... I just thought i'd let you guys know.

you might be waiting a very long time... I have to manually scan these pages in and to be honest it's not something i am rushing to do.

it'll get done... but i wouldn't plan your calendar around it really.

What about taking it to a local printer/setting place and asking how much to scan and put on PDF then see if the forum can get some wedge together to cover the cost. If it's the same sort of manual I got for the Strada then it'll take ages by hand.

Well to be honest i was only going to do the bits that were exclusively 16V, but yeah it'll take a while.
here's a taster of what they cover.

uninstalling the power plant (fitting is the reverse they say in the manual )
electrical schematics (they have EU and NI UK specs seperately)
calibrating the IAW stuff.
lots of lovely technical diagrams of cooling systems etc with directions marked.

I got one of these for the Strada at 200 pages long there is a lot of scanning. In the Strada it's mostly a technical specifications manual doesn't go into the detail that a Haynes manual does. I guess Fiat assume the reader knows most of the procedures and just provides the specific information where appropriate.

i agree that for the standard cars a haynes manual is sufficient, but considering that this model doesn't have any coverage by haynes or porters that makes any information 1000% better.

i've got 3 workshop manuals... one that pretty much covers the 16V and TDS models and the other 2 are more general.
