I have a 2009 Tjet 120HP with automatic transmission. Getting close to 140Km. I was offered a clutch by an Italian company MecArm.

Does anyone know them or anything about their quality?

Help is appreciated!

I have not heard of them until now, but i would only really consider them if they were really cheap... so cheap that you could justify doing the work 2 times.

I love cheap parts... but in the case of the clutch.. you really don't want to go in there again.... the price of labor is just to much... if will take about 4.5-6 hours( multiply that by standard mechanics hourly fee)

You have automatic gearbox and are thinking of changing the clutch, are you sure?

It's only automatic.. in that in changes speeds on it's own... but in reality it's a robotized manual gearbox (it has some solenoids pressing the clutch and moving the gear selector).

The automatic is a Dualogic which is similar to a manual transmission with the clutch operated by hydraulics. Fiat recommends replacing the clutch in these boxes after 90Km. My car is approaching 140Km. On top of that, I have experienced a couple of symptoms that are related to clutch ware like the getting stuck in 2nd gear and quick overheating.

I'm positive that the clutch needs replacement and also the hydraulic pump might be to have an overhaul as the pressure might not be building up as should.

The thing is that I don't know that company and I would like to know if someone had any experience with them. I can get their kit through a friends for less than what I would pay for a kit by Sachs for example. Of course they are not the same but for the price difference I don't mind if it would only last for two more years.
