Are any of the MK2 range lowered a little as standard like the SPorting and the GT in the Mk1 range?

Might be an idea if you can get springs from a scrappy is there is!

I am not totally sure to be honest, looking at some Gmax 35mm springs coming in at about £100 plus getting them done by a "friend" so hopefully fitting will only be bout £40. Just need to get them and sort fitting, its easier said than done lol

I think I've still got some mk2 lowering springs in the garage. Boge 35mm, top quality cost about 200 quid i think. Were on the car for about 6 months and have been sitting in the garage for about another 6 months.

Only thing is they were on a 5 door not sure if its the same for a 3 door??

I think the springs will fit a 3 door, as it goes on the engine size of the car. When i got mine it only asked me if it was a 1.2 8v, didnt mention body style

Just outta curiousity anybody know if those Gore springs are up to much - or does anybody have any springs they would reccomend?

Got myself a mk2 now, black, doesnt have colour coded bumpers, but i shall get mine sprayed or get some.

Yeh, my mk1 was finshed. Got a mk2 today, havent seen it yet as im at the girlfriends in st andrews, and i live outside glasgow...so were going down tomorrow and ill see it then.

I'm driving my mums vecta, 1.8 16v..big difference compared to my 1.1. lol, ill post pics later on.

Hey was bored so thought id put up a pick of the car since i got it lowered a couple of weeks ago, hopefully gettin my windows smoked for christmas (thanks to my lovely gf who may be reading this )

But not cleaned the car so its a bit grubby

only decided to drop it 35mm for the moment. Not really got any exterior plans for the her apart from some tints. Wanting to fit a monitor/dvd player and steal my gfs ps2 n hook up some pro evo 5 lol

tell u summin, the more i see the abarth skirts the more i like them. Do they sit any lower than the sills?

yeah they sit slightly lower, not too much though - ill check later and let you know how much they hang by
