Goin Into the Garage...

Hey,

Car is goin into the garage tomorrow morning to get the paint work done, just cant decide wether to keep the black bits black or roll with the red as well - also can they repaint the black bit black?

Anyways thought Id post a pic of my car in all its pride before losing her for a few days...

I can't see any reason why they can't paint the black bits black but I would colour code it all.

Should look quite sweet when done!

Black they could do and just treat as if colour coding a black car!

Again, like voodoo suggests why not consider fully colour coding though?! I can see it maybe worth being black for breaking up but then you could keep it as is without painting?!

ha theres one of them Polos kickin' about Braehead a lot, always amuses me!

I am gettin the handles and mirrors done as well, already remove bump strips, gettin the bumpers totally red, may as well push the boat out ill get some pics up early next week when i get her back and give her a good polish .

With regards to keeping it that color the dumb broad next door asked me if i was "Going to paint the white bits blue as well..." As you can imagine I just ignored her comments and went back to cutting my hands on bits of bumper plastic.

Alrite everybody just picked up the car and took some pics, havent had a chance to polish her yet so it aint as nice as it will be tomorrow and before anybody comments i know she needs lowered - its in the process lol

looks gd! looks liek a very gd job, guy down my way has the dame colour of punto get tints they blend in well with that colour.

shame u cant change those headrests had them in ma old punto there well annoyin

Mine was in for a week, just getting the mirrors, handles and rub strips done!

i noticed as well u put the original rear lights on- much better imo

Yeah they were really fast, dropped her off thursday morning at half eight and picked her back up on friday at half past one - so 29 hours they had her lol, they also did something to my b-pillars to make them shiney or something. I only noticed cause my g/f shut the door and pushed her hand against it and now left her handprint (as much as i love her i dont want this immortalised on my door) So i guess that means ill need to clean it all 2mor

Yeah the lights were never really my idea totally, kinda given confilcting information - long story. But as I say really fast turn around and a really reasonable price so cant complain (Y)

Oh yeah forgot to say - dont suppose anybody was looking for a set of mk2 bumpers as I now have a set of black plastic ones lying in my garden and my mother is getting slightly worked up about it and suggested I remove them soon lol

You should have got the washer jets colour coded too...makes the bonnet look smarter with them done!

Yeah goin got get her lowered 35mm soon If i cvan get them for a decent enough price. Didnt want the washer jets done as I wanted a bit of black to break it up (mirror rubbers, the tray on my wipers, b pillars etc)
