If its the car i think it is, very tidy, i would aim for a grand.
Book price is well and good, but some will pay more for a pristine example (which lets face it are few and far between when looking at cars worth >1k).
Also not everyone does their homework and a grand for a tidy low mileage car might seem a bargain.
You can always come down!

if its the car i think it is? have u seen my motor?

You'll be very lucky to get £1k.

Apart from this Forum's members, who wants a Bravo these days?

RR who wants a Bravo these days.

Do you not read the motoring rags. The Fiat Bravo is now a good cheap car to buy now. I mean you can get W reg Bravo/a's for around £1.5K.

Newish car, good factory equipment inside, i.e elec windows, sunroof, mirrors, etc.

I think another magazine also made the Bravo to be a good buy nowadays. Not sure on its name, something to do with mechanics.

Ok the 1.4 prob isn't worth £1K, ok say he sells his whole Abarth Kit for £300. Alloys for £200. His car for £500 in standard form. He may reach £1k.

Exactly - "Cheap".

He may get £1k, he may not. Personally, I think not, but there you go.

I paid over the odds for our Alfa 145 Cloverleaf. They're rare, even rarer with low mileage and it had been serviced twice a year at a main dealer and always run an fully synthetic. New pads and discs all round, 4 new Goodyears, 10 months tax and 12 months MoT.

We wanted it and sold a 1993 BMW 318 to get it, so we paid over the odds. It's been a money-pit ever since, but there you go and here endeth the lesson.

Stu my sister wants a bravo...
i have the 1.6 SX but she wants something smaller.

mines a 99 and i only paid £1400 and it's mint. so i doubt it would fetch a K, she only has a budget of about £800

do you have any pictures of the vehicle?

email at [email protected] if you have any other infor regarding red key, plastic code card, cambelt details, service history and all that jazz.

cheers

Hopefully...

Now the bump strips are body coloured and the back is debadged.
Have got someone coming to look at it today so fingers crossed!

If it is mechanincally sound (apart from the 1.4 bit-jk) and is as good as it looks, someone will certainly pay 1k for that car, regardless of what RR thinks...

@joske, the magazine you mean was called auto mechanics and there was an article about buying a T reg for £500, not sure of the car details

It was a 1.6 T reg, and i think it was £900 they paid, not 500

anyways, going by the pics, i'd say 1k was spot on for it, as its in great condition externally. so long as it has good mechanicals, suspension etc, and good service history. I sold a much less modified 1.4 S with similar miles about 10 months ago for £1k.

@ buzz, you may well be right, I didnt look that closely as the magazine was on the bottom shelf, and I was looking at those on the top:)
