Getting the stock sub to work with an aftermarket HU

Hey guys, I recently bought a Punto MK2 Sporting and noticed it came with a stock sub in the boot that wasn't working.

I pulled out the old mutant mt1105usb head unit that it came with to find a connector at the back that wasn't plugged in. I assume this connector needs to be adapted to plug it in to the head unit to get a the sub working?

After more research i think i need the opposite of the Autoleads PC3-11 cable.

Would this one for Audi's work? I believe the red block fits the blue/green/yellow box.
