M.O.T time soon for the Fantasia and I'm becoming paranoid.]

I've been in that situ 3 weeks ago, it all depends on a mot tester age, mood, the weather outside and how nostalgic he is. My panda did pass at first attempt, no advisories. Garage where i'm doing mot's does use en external mot tester, and i've been told that the mot tester said "not many of them left, couple comments abot the condition and that in the good old days cars were made to serve"

I go the same M.O.T tester that did my Uncles and Grand Fathers cars but even they are getting their hands tied behind their backs with legislation.

Assuming I ever get my car back, the mots due in September and im not worried. Well, I'm decatted, which could end badly.

i am not getting my hopes up when i come to take talon for the MOT.. i got a feeling its going to fail but i dont know what on yet. as far as i can see, once i fit the new doors and sort out the front wiper it should be fine.

theres always something eating away at me telling me its not gonna pass :/

The reason this thread started, the black CLX is back. But it's odd.

Classic FIat Panda CLX. Bought as a run around but now no longer needed. (You've had it a month) It was bought previously for towing behind a camper and so a lot of the miles were driven free wheeling !

It is in fair condition for its age, has new exhaust, engine mount and has MOT until April 2013. It is taxed until September.

What is your mate looking for - condition, price, etc? Been offered a Panda to save it from being scrapped - which clearly I'll have to have - but no room at the inn long term. Will have to investigate alleged issues, but doubt it's anything too serious from the description. :idea:

sadly, he just wants a car to build up no claims on.. not because he loves the panda like us lot do. he wants something group 1 insurance, cheap as possible with as longer MOT and tax as he can get.
