10mins and you get used to it...what do you mean diff brakes?? Can't improve them that much.
I think it will definitely be a case of just getting used to them, the Punto has very sharp brakes to give the illusion that they are very strong (which they are still quite strong anyway) so I'm used to braking with just a toe and easily coming to a halt.
Driving the Panda down a hill with the brake pedal actually pressed down is a new experience, I'm sure I'll just get used to it, as will I have to get used to the super sensitive throttle, kept pulling away with about 4000rpm :rolleyes: whoops!

Ahem *clears throat*

Today I drove my first Panda. For those who haven't ever driven a Punto, or those who haven't driven a Panda this is my comparison.

Gearchange;
The Punto's is infinitely better, although a little slack it is easy to find every gear and it slots in with little effort. If I continue to change gear at the speed I am used to in a Panda I will need a new gearbox every 5 miles (n)

Engine;
The Punto has more power but also weighs the same as a small house, the Panda makes a better noise and is more willing. :D

Suspension;
Punto is more comfy but wallowy around corners and not very engaging.
Panda has to be 'driven', much more fun and involving. :slayer:

Styling;
Punto is rounded.
Panda is square.

Did you just try the one Didge?

You could upgrade to a servo but not really necessary, give yourself a week and it will all be fine as is. That will just leave your gear changes to slow down :eek:.

Use a 4x4 with the "standard" 3rd gear quality synchro for a week - it makes so much noise if you rush it, that anyone with an ounce* of mechanical sympathy will soon learn to slow the change down - just a thought!!! ;)

(* note for younger readers - this is an archaic form of weight measurement. The Urban dictionary gives a useful :confused: conversion to enable you to buy your weed - I kid you not!!)

Yeah just tried the one, Vern offered a drive of another but technically wouldn't be covered by insurance so gave it a miss, did have a good look round at literally everything he had.

Yeah I think I'll get used to it, and MUST slow down that gear change, I did some practicing in the Punto on my way home, feels a bit odd changing gear so slowly especially uphill. Probably a bit of the 'boy racer' in me though. :eek:

It is, I'm privileged enough to work from home so I get to walk up here most days.

Some wonderful walks although getting up there can be a little challenging in weather like this, surprised how well the selecta does in the snow.
