gemini alarm, remote central locking...

hi FF, i would just like your inputs on an alarm i might be buying...

well... i have a 5 door punto, no central locking, no electric windows, no nothing lol... so i've been wanting to get central locking, remote central locking and an alarm...

i came across this man who can fit this sort of stuff, fully quallified...

and he can do me a gemini alarm system, central locking on all 4 doors, and remote central locking on all 4 doors, and maybe a boot popper on the key fob if i get another solenoid.

basically this is what im gettin, 4/5 solenoids, gemini alarm system, and remote central locking.

he is charging me about 320, is this worth it?

Dunno how much alarm is, but £40-£50 for C/locking kit, plus alarm, so he charging about £200 labour.

How long he recon it will take? Any warrentiee on his work included

i think it will take him about 7 hours to do, well he did say drop it off an 10am and pick it up at 6, so maybe 7-8 hours...

yes i do get some warantee with it. i think 1 years.

would a gemini alarm lower my insurance a bit? and what do you rate gemini's in general out of 10... 10 being the best.

Depends if it's a regonised system (thatcham tested) and if the fitter will give a cert to say its fitted.

I've never heard of the make personally.
