Hello Pandanauts, I've been trying to get hold of the gaiter under the car that covers the 4x4 linkage. My Fiat dealer tells me it's not available, does anyone know of a source or have a spare in exchange for coin of the realm?
Cheers, Mike

Thanks, I can never get on ePER to check part numbers, I actually had it ordered and they came back about a fortnight later to say it wasn't available. Maybe I'll try again next time I'm down that way.

What month and year was the 4x4 registered? There is an early and a late. My Sisley is an early and many parts are no longer available (via chasis/vin number), but most tend to be the same. The Early ones were upto about Aug/Sept 1988 I think.

Jon.

It's a 1990 Jon, and I provided the chassis number, so you would expect the later ones, [if there is more than one] to still be available.
I'm resigned to modifying an internal gaiter off something.
PH - Exactly the same experience, it would appear that UK dealers parts discs are not always bang up to date.

Did they change the linkage on the 4x4's to the internal cable type (like the two wheel drive cars) after 93?

Obvousley they'd not be on any UK ones as they stopped importing them before them....
