gearbox

hi looks like the gearbox has gone on my Marea JTD so im gonna attempt to replace it myself. iv found 1 on ebay off a 2.4 JTD
does anyone know if this will fit a 2001 1.9 JTD or if any other gearbox will fit?

Im 99% sure it wont.

There different engins completly - ones a 4 pot others a 5 pot... and i think the gearing it totally dirrent...


all the other old 1.9JTD's share the same box as found in bravo / brava - 8v JTD stilo also i assume. think the 1.9JTD punto box is lower gearing also.


even the multipla uses the old 1.9 8vJTD engine.
