Technical gearbox thrust bearing clip

hi all, just getting gearbox mounted to engine and in the box off bits there is a clip that i persume fits on the bearing but i cant seem to find how it fit's, would anyone have a picture showing how its fitted, again this is on the ducato motorhome i have , thanks

If you have some photos I can try and advise. Failing that with further model specifics someone here is sure to have details.

hi all sorry for delay in replying,, popped in to a old school garage and he was ablel to show correct fitting off the clip so all sorted now thanks,,, next question can i get a Haynes manual for my engine at all , having a game trying to find where all wires pipes ect fit, i have the 1989 elddis autostratus ,thanks

Hi tomj25,

You will need to know which engine is fitted to you vehicle. If you do an internet search, you could be lucky and find that the engine has also been used in a car, for which a Haynes manual is available, I found this site informative for the sofim 2.8jtd.
