My Fiat Ducato 2005 X244 2.8 JTD gearbox had a gearbox block out to 4th gear. After opening the gearbox my symptoms are very similar to another user's post https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/05-ducato-wont-select-4th-gear.285506/
Upon further inspection, I've noticed that most of the other Baulk springs are showing wear of the outer gears chaffing over the springs. It almost seems to me that these springs protrude too high up. I'll have to replace all of these while I'm at it. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
