Hi all,
I am currently building up a 128 3p from a large pile of parts. Now here is a problem. It cam with a 5 speed gearbox, which mounts to the engine without problems, but as you can see in the picture the gearbox suppory that mounts to the lower crossmember won't fit to the gearbox. So I assume this is not the right gearbox then. It had a label attached to it that it was from a Ritmo 75.
I fear that my only option is to find another box, with the mountings in the right place. Any thoughts on this are welcome!

Thanks for your reply.
That crossed my mind but unfortunately there is nothing on the bellhousing to mount on. The round surface that is visible is not a hole....

On the left of the box can’t you drill and tap it to take a stud or bolt ? it looks like it’s reinforced.

128’s were only four speeds but a few fitted five speed ritmo/strada boxes, often with the 1500 engine…there’s also a known one with a 105 TC engine and box, that has equal length driveshafts so no torque steering…modify the existing mount to fit but ensure the engine/gearbox is at the right ‘tilt’
