Hi Folks,

I'm looking for a Fiat manual gearbox from around 1960 (normally on a 1200 cabriolet) as shown in the image; it does not need to have the bellhousing as I have this. It looks like a standard Fiat/1100 box from the era but with the gearstick directly attached to the selectors on top of the unit. I have a 1500 unit already

Happy to consider shipping from anywhere that a kind soul may have one for sale. If you have an image looking directly into the bellhousing then I can check the attached to the box is the same

Hi Robin

It is largely a standard Fiat 1100 box but the input and layshafts are different to improve the gear spacing. They are hard to find in markets where they weren't sold .... like here in Australia but there seem to be a few dismantled in the US as people swap the drivelines along the lines of the standard American disease of 'more power'. Might I suggest the Fiat 118 series page on FB.
