Ok, yeah now you say it that makes sense. I have never had a Panda 4x4/y10 4x4 gearbox apart but always assumed that the prop is driven off of the front diff so according to the rear diff the front diff will just be turning more slowly which will then rotate the rear diff at the same speed. I tried to check it on the link you put up on the site but could not make it work. I am not sure how accurate the figures in La Lancia are so we should not take these figures as concrete. The Y10 does still feel like it has the ultra low first gear like the panda but I think this is just due to the final drive being alot lower than the standard Y10.
