Hi Everybody.
I was in the middle of France with a ferry to catch the next day when I could not select any gears. I was recovered to a Fiat dealer who was very helpful and managed to get me going the next morning. However they told me that the problem was that 5th gear syncro was badly worn and needed replacing. I have stripped it out this morning but am unable to locate a syncro, main dealer said that it is discontinued and all the gearbox repairers I have tried make the oosshing noise. Has anybody got any suggestions where I could get a new 5th gear syncro and selector fork for a 1990 Kontiki based on a Fiat Ducato?
