My 2009 Bravo 1.9 Multijet 8v uses the C530 5-speed gearbox. I have for the last year needed to change the gear oil three times due to water ingress or condensation. Every time the oil is very white so clearly there is a dose of water in the mix.
As far as I've found out the Barchetta and Coupe uses the same gearbox and probably a few others along with Alfa Romeo models. Does any of you know where the ventilation is located on these boxes or if it at all has a ventilation outlet ? It's the only reason for water ingress I can think of and that it's either clogged up or lets water into the bearbox.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
