Hi I am looking at viable engine conversions for a classic mini. One of them in mind was the 1.2 or 1.4 16v fire engine with a 5 speed gearbox. The biggest problem with trying to squeeze one in is the width of the engine bay.

I thought I would ask you friendly folk if you knew these dimensions.

1. The distance from the timing cover or auxiliary pulley to the end of the gearbox.

2. The height from the bottom of the sump to the top of the cam cover.

3. The distance from the front of the gearbox to the back of the diff housing.

Any help on these will be very much appreciated
