Strange feeling occurs when in gear, 1st 2nd and reverse mostly. Feels like a continual knocking when you hold the gear knob, also very juddery when pulling off, any ideas what the prob is??? Anyone

Juddery - thats the sign that your clutch bearing is on the way out, mine did this for 1 year before the whole clutch went when i went meeting Wimmy, Don't hold the gearstick when driving - from other posts i'm lef to believe this damages the syncro mesh?

correct
Holdng the gear stick when driving puts pressure on the gears when rotating - it causes extra wear and can cause slip and jump aswell.

IT doesn't damage the synchro, it utterly ruins the selector forks.
I'm with Sy and KEv, your clutch has issues.
