Technical gearbox/comformatic fault on dashboard

I have a strange problem with my Bravo 2011 dualogic
the dashboard is showing gearbox/comformatic fault and gearbox is acting strangely. I smell of clutch fume and clunky noise from the gearbox. Anyone has nay idea what is the cause of this problem?
The car has 22,000 km and always serviced at the fiat dealer.
