Gear selection issues

We have a 2001 brava 1.6. it is jumping out of third gear and is getting worse, although all the other gears are fine. Does anyone know if this could be cured by adjusting the cable gear selectors? and if so how do i adjust them?
Any help would be much appreciated.

1.6 isnt cables it has a metal gear linkage! sounds like the gear box is ****ed if you ask me

i think ribzz has one laying around in his garage from when he did his engine conversion had about 40k on it from what i remember

a 1.6 bravo box should do at least 120k before it starts jumping out of gear. the mk1 gear box is better as its an alfa jobbie but your struggle to find a low mileage one.
