just done mine. bit scary having to go at it with a stanley knife, but it came off without too much of a struggle in the end

I replaced mine with a richbrock one but changed the logo to a fiat punto one printed on sticky back, got a free matching lighter with it.

i like....!!

The original gear knob just pulled off with minimal effort on my 1999 Sporting.

Saying that, I found a guy breaking a 1998 GT3, but there was no way that gear knob was coming off in one piece!!

I guess it's just down to the luck of the draw...

does anyone know how to remove the upper plastic thing (which goes up and down) from the gear knob of a 2001 (MK2) Punto, automatic ?

im wanting to change my gear knob to a momo which i have seen because the one i have keeps coming off in my hand and tbh i just dnt like it. i was wondering if the momo one will come with some sort of fitment kit to attach it? btw its a mk2 punto sporting with the lift type reverse.

just friction fit.. it may pull off or it might so so tight you have to cut it.
I don't know the OD of the bar, but it will be 12mm or 14mm most likely
