General Gear box leak

ive read a few people say on here that the jtd gearbox on the multi is prone to leaks, is there a specific place where it leaks or is it just a general prob that cant be pinpointed to an exact place??

also is it an easy diy job???

cheers is this an expensive thing to fix? not the sort of job i think i could do myself

To be honest if its been leaking box fluid then it will need a clutch plate , most places sell them as 3 part clutch kit.
Has it not been slipping? normally in 4th gear foot down?

no clutch drives perfect only prob i have is a whine in 4th gear between say 2k rpm and 3k rpm and thats it

take it were talking silly money then ti have repaired
