Any one used them?

I fancy some eibach springs and they are cheap there.
They also list a complete spring/damper set for £91 which seems unbelievably cheap!
Makes me suspicious.

Edit
Did a Google search and lots of hits, a few from ff , seems that service can be good or the worst with people resorting to credit card companies to get refunds.
Prices are plus vat too.

Everything I have read about them says don't buy from them.

The Alfa forums are full of cases of stuff never arriving, unable to contact them and eventually trying to claim back through card companies as above.

seekpart24 have got a mention before on the FF (I think it was RobW) and seem to get the (y).
They too list the B4s for the 0.9
http://seekpart24.com/bilstein/shock-absorber-19184104?c=100121&at=39921
Price is cheaper than Gazella given the strength of the Sterling.
Checking the 1.2 & the 1.4 same rear shock is listed but the Front axle Left/Right are different. Fiat list the shocks differently since the 1.4 has a shorter rear shock.
If you plan on getting B4s all round would suggest double-checking that the Bilstein do the correct Fronts for the TA.
From an insurance point of view I reckon you would not need to inform your insurance since the B4s are deemed to be a OEM replacement.
If you 'drop' then judging by a post from Maxi the 'extra' premium is quite small.
If you end up going for a set of Eibachs I would suggest going for the Koni Sports so that you can 'adjust' the shocks. It is possible to do it in situ but it's more awkward than the AVOs.

Was me :) Haven't used them so can't vouch for them :)

Re: URGENT CLAIMS AGAINST Gazzella Racing

Gazzell appear to have defrauded many customers by taking money for orders which have never been fulfilled. Have a look at the Alfa Romeo forum under the topic heading 'Urgent Gazzella'.

I have personally been defrauded of over £600.

My partner is a Barrister and we have collected information and reported Chris (the owner of Gazzella) to numerous authorities in the UK. Some European customers have reported them to the equivalent EU authority. We beleive VAT fraud has also been conducted as Gazzella charged VAT for goods that were never delivered.

This practice appears to have continued since at least 2006/07 and is still prevelent.

Please post to this thread deatils of your complaint re Gazzella and I will collate and sent to UK Trading Standrads and Action Fraud (the organised crime reporting portal).

If you wish to raise your complaint as well simply call West Yorkshire Trading Strandards on 08454 04 05 06 takes 10 mins(y)

Please take action to prevent traders like this getting away with ripping off customers. They rely on the fact it will cost too much and take too much trouble to pursue a claim through the small claims court.

The above relates only to:
Gazzella Racing Limited of
Riverside Way,
Thornes Lane,
Wakefiled,
West Yorkshire
WF1 5QW

DO NOT AGREE TO PAY OVER THE PHONE TO GAZZELLA they will ask you to do so because their paypal account fails to work or they have to pay a service cost to paypal.

I can't see how you could be down £600.
Just call your card company and thy will refund your money.

I have the e-mail audit trail and sums sent from account. Gazzella simply didn't supply and then promissed refund which never happened! Lots of people have similar experiences. My card company wont pay as it was over 120 days old, but as I had held on so long waiting for promissed parts the 120 days had well expired.

Well digging has discovered that Gazzella Racing has only one director LARS CHRISTIAN OESTERGAARD

Now: many believe that there are two people running Gazzella, namely Chris and Larrs....well I postulate that 'Chris' as he answers the phone is actually Larrs Christian Oestergaard using his abreviated middle name of 'Chris'. So perhaps Larrs is trying to hide behind a nom de plume and can hope to blame a non-existent Chris for the potential frauds? This should make everyone very wary.

If you waited over 4 months for parts that never came and did not claim on your card I can see why you would want to do this.....but I think most people will have done a claim on paypal or creditcard and not waited 4 months.

Good luck and lets hope this company goes out of business soon.
