gas housing card meter

oki this is my first flat and all i can say is i hate gas
I dont have a gas cooker and im going thru £2.40 (give or take) a day on gas is this expensive if you have you heating on 2hrs in the morning and 2 hrs at nite?.

I would hope not cause my dad stays in a flat and has his on just about all the time.

Sounds like something else is being left on somewhere or when you do have your heating on its at full boost! Might be worth getting the gasman to double check your kit to make sure you arent leaking anywhere and that the unit is working correctly.

im around 15 ish a month on full gas central heating in my house around 30-40 when comes winter times so could be a bit steep but meters uisualy are a lot dearer

that token meters are a ****ing rip-off, when we had one in the flat we were using the same amount (money-wise) as what we do now for a 3 bed house!!!!!! and the heating is on more at the house......

My brothers got one of those pre-pay things at his flat. It's always freezing there as he doesn't put on the heating too much due to the astronimcal costs! :thumb_down:
