I've been a customer at a few of these now so just thought I would share my experiences :)

Bensons/ Brookside garage: always been helpful and understanding and as time's gone on and I learned more, has asked my opinion on what wants/ needs done as well. Has helped with jobs large and small and gives the car a thorough check and recommends advisory work at both service and MOT. Never patronised, not deliberately tried to rip me off but has 'tested' my knowledge once and lo and behold the 'problem' was quietly solved. Would go back :)

Ramsay's garage: again helpful and understanding, never patronising and open to discussion on what wants/ needs done. Not sure if Duncan thinks I know more than I do (always a possibility, I fake it well ;)) and hopes I'm going to find my own problems, or if the car's just in good nick (a rarity) when it goes but it's never needed any extra work advised after services. Never remotely tried to rip me off, knows his Fiats well as his family has had stacks of them (A&R Jordan's dad) and is competetively priced. Definitely go back (y)

MD Sellars/ Mally's/ Burnfoot: They did fit me in at relatively short notice when I needed something, the finish of the job was interesting mind.

Alan Fell bodywork: interesting paint match considering I offered him some perfectly matched paint

ATS: helped me out at short notice once, very friendly and helpful. Have found them expensive when getting quotes for routine jobs though (I think they always use genuine parts?).

Thassit, not tried the rest :)
