Hi Guys and Girls,
It's Boxing Day in Australia and 35deg. Not like Christmas at all. This is my Newbie post.
I'm the owner of two Classic Panda Fire 4x4s. One here in Australia which I imported and would imagine is the only one here. I took it to the Italian car club prior to putting it on Club plates and the Pemit Officer at the club was over the moon with it. " I've seen them in books but never in real life " we're his words.
The second car is as I right having a respray in the UK after having new floors welded in. That car came with a doner cars which my some spotted in a shed near where he lives. I'm trying at the moment to locate all the badges and 4x4 side decals for the rebuild.
My first question to the forum is, "does the 1.2 8v engine from the modern Panda/ Ford Ka fit directly onto the fire 4x4" Yes or No. Have read various blogs but am still in the dark bearing in mind I'm 12000k away from this resto of a car I haven't seen yet.
Happy new Year to you all hope to have pics and more info in the following months.
