Regarding the wheelbolts... there is a chance you will need longer ones as, I discovered when I put some Mk1 14" alloys on my Mk2 Brava with 15" alloys. The older wheels needed new longer bolts (53mm overall I recall) because the V countersink in the wheel doesn't go so far through on the older wheels, and therefore it's probably the same on your mid 90's Coupe wheels. My later alloys had the V going through to within say 4mm, and the bolts were shorter so didn't grip enough when on the Mk1 wheels.

Also Fiat moved from 19mm hex heads to 17mm with a "shoulder" around the head. Probably a money / weight saving thing.

I'll make a boring wheel / wheelbolts thread with photos one day...

Thanks again for the info guys (y)

I've being in two minds for what to do for a while now. Originally I wanted to use the C&B cams in a 2.4 20v lump, as the 2.4 with the extra cc's produces alot of extra torque. And with the extra torque I wanted to run the 20vt 6 speed box. But going down the 2.4 route means alot of extra finances, that I just dont have right now. so I may come back to the 2.4 another time.

I would love to run the 6 spd gear box, as I have one spare and it would bolt streight up, mainly for economy on long runs etc, but on the 2.0l I fear it would make the car slow as the ratios are all wrong. So I'll probably be sticking with the N/A box, but to do the brembo conversion I will be switching to 20vt hubs, so I'll just use 20vt wheel bolts, and that's that sorted :)

Well 2 days to go... I'm excited much! :D

Started stripping a 20vt that I had bought for spares yesterday. I had planned on finishing it off this morning, as I need the space and the brembos/hubs etc for the bravo.

But opened my lockup doors to this, this morning!!! :(

"big sigh"... This puts a drag on things.
