Technical Fuse jeeps blowing when using washer

My Fiat MArea 1.8 ELX weekend keeps blowing thw 20a fuse when i try to use the washer has anyone and clues as why this is happening. I can use the wipers but blows this fuse when i pull the washer function

try unplugging the screen wash pump (from the electric supply its on a 2 pin plug on the pump) and try the wash function with a fresh fuse if it blows without the pump attached its some fault with the wiring or switch if it doesn't blow chances are the motor windings have lost their enamel and this is putting a short on the supply.. = new pump
