A couple of times now I've had a problem starting my Bravo.
It only happens when I'm a bit cack-handed and let go of the key at precisely the moment when the engine is about to kick in. When I then go to turn the key the engine just turns and turns and takes about 30-40 seconds of constant pumping to finally start.

Thank go I've got a strong battery! In fact I've never felt a strong starter motor!

It only happens when I let go of the key while starting, if I've turned the key properly it's always started with ease.

This happen to anyone else??

I think i know what you mean - I did something similar a couple of times, but didn't have to keep pumping etc to get it finally started.

Not much help i'm afraid!

Sounds like the imobiliser kicks in and blocks the fuel - or something else ;)

With any injection system the accelerator pedal should not be pumped as it will flood the pots.
