Hi all, I have a 2001 marea 1.6 weekend. Had it for 5 years with no real probs but now it has developed a problem. Tickover is occasionaly erratic and power fades at any revs and then I have to tickle the pedal to get the power back.
Had it into the garage and the analyser registered a fuel trim problem but they said they didn't know the cause and couldn't get sensor readings because only Fiat dealers can get the detailed readings.( which cost big bucks!).
The engine management light comes on when I use the air con and the problem seems worse. The garage cleared the problem from the engine management and the problem went away but only for a couple of days.
Any ideas?
