Hi,

Got some good info off Tom yesterday regarding a Fuel injection error message today. Got the car tested and the fault said its an injector that needs replacing. They have said 200 quid all in for the test, new part and fitting it. Firstly is this a fair price, secondly should I ask for any of the used parts back and finally if I just have one injector changed will this effect my fuel consumption.

Cheers
Phill

Re: Re: fuel injection

Odd, the symptoms indicated something else but at least you now know for sure. £200 for an injector is good going as its a bit of a shitty job. Ideally you should get all 4 done at once as the others will be old and worn.

You can get new injectors for £50+vat and do the job yourself or get a frendly garrage to do it for you.
