its the 2007 1.3 multijet diesel

If its the same as the 1.9 then it will have fuel line connectors that push fit on and an electrical connection.

You do need to find out though if these lines are pressurised and if so how to relieve the pressure.

Face full of high pressure diesel isnt going to be nice for anyone.

cheers i have the pipes off the filter housing do you know how i get the old filter out and put the new fiter in

Take a picture as im struggling to work out how it wont just lift out vertically, assuming it isnt secured by a bracket which needs undoing?

Have you removed the sensor? Elearn says you need to undo the clip and it should release.

cheers for the replys i have taken the filter out ..........i think the motor factors sold me the wrong filter it looks like they gave me a filter that fits into a fuel filter housing

I've done the same thing as you: I puled out the three fule pipes on the top of the filter assembly and the sensor on the bottom.
I tried to open/unscrew the meatalic housing filter to put the "paper filter" inside but I can't do it.
I don't know if I'm missing some thing here !!! but plz somone can answer these 2 question:
1) We have to replace all the metalic fuel filer (filter assembly)
2) We can change the fuel filter inside the filter assembly... in this case how we can unscrew the matlic housing filter ?

You need to replace the complete filter

The housing does not unscrew.
