my diesel fuel filter on my 1.3 MJ looks like this. anyone have a YT vid on how to change it?
looks to me there's 2 easy disconnects on top for inflow/outflow, and, the water sensor on the the bottom.
questions:
1) is there a best time to disconnect the top lines when pressure is most minimal, ie, in morning time after car has been sitting all night? how high is the resident pressure in the lines?
2) after replacing the new filter, is it important to "prime" the new filter by manually filling it with diesel so that the fuel pump doesnt have a "dry spot" lag in fuel flow while the new filter (if empty) is filling? is this important or not?
