General Fuel filler and cap

Hi,

I have been trying to take off the fuel filler section from the car as I am having it re sprayed but can't see how to remove it. All I managed to do was remove the plastic piece that goes around it, picture shown below. Does anyone know how to remove this section.

Not sure but it looks exactly like the mk2 Panda one. On the Panda the outer circle is a push fit with tabs holding it in place - you'd need to lever up the outer circle (you might get a better view/access with the cap off). Once the outer ring is off the filler neck will move around and can be pushed back from the hole in the bodywork (on the Panda at least). :idea:
