I need to clean my piperx, only been about 6 months since the last clean and its filthy!
Shows its doing its job (unlike the stainless ones)

hi al not seen you around for a while, how's things? i was in stoke last night - went with my mate in his escort - see what was going on at festival park - few nice cars there, was pretty cool cos never seen all the cruisers up there before...
about the air filter... i got one fitted a couple of weeks ago and my 1.2 now sounds like impreza - no ****! i am now like ian (geforce) racing impreza's lol!
the fuel consumption will only go down because you put your foot to the floor more to hear the noise, if you drive your car normally - (not putting your foot to the floor) then your fuel consumption will stay the same (at least this is what has happened with me)
so, indirectly through driving the car to hear the noise all the time yes, but i wouldn't make that stop you from getting one, the noise will put a smile on your face every time you hear it!

Hi Dan.... Yer i have rather busy the last few weeks so i not been on the forum much.
I tend to keep away from Festival Park.... its a funny one... most cruses are cool but festival park can be a bit dodgy lol.
As for the filter.. i have had it on my car for monthes but its seems suddenly to be using more gas. I agree about the sound though .... its great in the summer with your windows down.. prob is i have air con so i dont have my windows open much lol

lol what do you mean by dodgy? it was good cos i've never been there on a sunday night, we're going the big one on saturday hopefully... again, just to see what's going on there etc, there's gonna be a mag appearance aswell so could be quite a big one...
