I have just been to the local car accessories shop & was quoted £19 for a fuel filter & £11 for an air filter for the 1.9 naturally aspirated diesel. Is that excessive?

nope that sounds about normal! i would of actually expected the costs to be opposite though!

Bought a set of filters from the dealers a couple of days ago. oil filter was £12 plus VAT, the fuel and air filter were £13.70 plus VAT each

Well if you've replaced them with Jubilee Clips, and it's probably a better fit then I don't see why you couldn't throw away the old ones, although it may be worth chucking them in your little tool kit with the jack etc just in case you ever do (y)

Sods law you throw it away and you'll need it ;)

I fitted the air filter this afternoon, it took two hours because two of the three bolts were in awkward places. It's not like the Maestro I had that was nice & simple.

Could anyone tell me how often the air filter should be changed in a 1.3 multijet Doblo ???
