Hi all, 2 questions:

1. Im going to replace my front shocks next weekend. I popped into powerfiat and rog said that i should replace the spinning plastic bits that sit at the top of the shock that allow the shock to turn. I just need to know exactly what they are called and if you lot think its worth replacing them?

2. One of my anti roll bar links needs replacing. Ive removed the lower bolt to seperate it from the wishbone, but how do i seperate it from the roll bar its self, i thought it would just slide off but it does not want to budge? any suggestions?

cheers guys

1) strut top, top mount, dome bearing, many names for it. They should last a long time. How many miles on your car?

2) take the bolt off the end of the ARB and it should slide off. It might be rusted on so whack it.

Do both sides at once, if one is dead the other won't be far behind.

cheers tom, its done 57K. The ARB is not clunking or anything the links just look manky so as im doing the shocks i might aswell change them whie the wheels off. i'll try whacking them harder. Apparently the Strut tops are quite expensive £15-20 each so if they dont need doing i'd rather leave them

Oh and you will need to order the bushes than hold the droplinks to the wishbone seperately.
